Discussion about Mapping and using Curriculum Connector

• Entering standards - decide to include anchors
• Anchors align to the PSSAs more closely than standards
• Can anchors be entered into Curriculum Connector?
  • Assessment anchors will be added - all in agreement
  • Determined by department K-12
• Teachers will be given a "user guide" to describe what is required as guidelines.

• When will mapping take place?
  • MS - in place of typing and submitting lesson plans. Can print out lesson once created.
  • Elementary -
  • High School - free time

• Can curriculum be transferred from our current maps?
  • What is really happening in the classroom?
  • Is there a way to transfer written curriculum electronically.
  • Maps should be an accurate measure of what is currently going on in the classroom
  • C&I has copy of latest curriculum.
